The New Hampshire Soccer Association Olympic Development Program will be hosting a “College Night” on Wednesday evening May 20th at the Northeast Athletic Club in Pembroke, NH (see directions below).  New Hampshire and New England collegiate coaches are being invited to meet and scout/recruit the top players in New Hampshire, and to share information about their programs in support of youth soccer and the Olympic Development Program in our state.
 
The boys and girls state teams will be playing intra-squad exhibition matches that evening, with the youngest teams kicking off at 5:00pm, and the older teams kicking off at 6:30pm.
 
From 5:45 to 6:30pm the Dartmouth College men’s and women’s coaches will be offering a college recruiting workshop for all NH ODP players and parents, followed by and open answer-and-question session with all college coaches in attendance, and then the opportunity for individuals to meet and speak with individual coaches.
 
After the workshop college coaches will be invited to stay and observe the older teams playing exhibition/showcase intra-squad matches kicking off at 6:30pm.  Full rosters with contact information will be available for distribution to college coaches at those matches.

NH ODP recognizes per NCAA Guidelines that Division 1 coaches cannot have off-campus recruiting contact with any high school junior prior to July 1st, and that prior to that date they can only present general recruiting information for educational purposes, and within that cannot present or refer specifically to their college or program to high school juniors or younger.  Also prior to July 1st Division 1 coaches can share camp information, but can only share general information about their College and cannot distribute media guides or sport-specific information to high school juniors or younger.
 
The goal of the event is to attain representation and support from every college or university soccer program in the state of New Hampshire (and several of our ODP Staff are also collegiate coaches, and we are also extending this invitation to any college soccer programs in New England as well), and to foster support and scouting/recruiting opportunities for our NH ODP players.  The full schedule for the evening will be as follows:

• 5:00-6:30pm – NH ODP state team intra-squad exhibition matches:
  • FIELD 2 – NH ODP U12 Boys (white) v NH ODP U13 Boys (blue);
  • FIELD 3 – NH ODP U13A Girls (white) v NH ODP U13B Girls (blue).
• 5:30-5:45pm – College Coach check-in/registration at NHSA ODP Information Tent (leave any program/camp information for distribution)
• 5:45-6:30pm – College Recruiting Workshop presented by Dartmouth College coaches at NHSA ODP Information Tent
• 6:30-8:00pm – NH ODP state team intra-squad exhibition matches:
  • FIELD 1 – NH ODP U16 Boys (white) v NH ODP U17 Boys (blue);
  • FIELD 2 – NH ODP U16 Girls (white) v NH ODP U17 Girls (blue);
  • FIELD 3 – NH ODP U14 Boys (white) v NH ODP U15 Boys (blue);
  • FIELD 4 - NH ODP U14 Girls (white) v NH ODP U15 Girls (blue).

Directions to the NORTHEAST ATHLETIC CLUB, 326 Buck Street, Pembroke, NH 03275 are:

* from Interstate Route 93 in Concord;
* take the Manchester Street/Route 3 exit and go east (right off the exit) towards Pembroke/away from Concord over the Merrimack River;
* about 10/15 minutes from there, in Pembroke, at the traffic light at Pembroke Academy, turn left onto Academy Road;
* about three minutes, where the road ends/Ts with Buck Street, turn right onto Buck Street;
* see fields on the left and turn in at the green gate please park in designated areas only.
 
This event will be held regardless of weather, with only torrential rain, high winds and/or thunder/lighting forcing cancellation.
