The NHSA Youth Open Cup was a tournament started for the teams that did not participate in the NHSA State Cup that takes place in the spring. This was started as a way of giving teams' closure and a common goal in which to strive for at the end of the spring season.
Due to several requests we have decided to revert back to the original format of a single elimination full length game as was done in the past. See the Open Cup Guidelines for the particulars.
Youth Open Cup 2009: The tournament will again stay as a single elimination tournament again this year. All games will need to be completed no later than May 30. There was discussion on double roster players. Players will play for their primary team if there are two teams in the same division.. The rules will stay as is. The fees will stay as is. It was determined that the finals for the Youth Open Cup will need to be held on June 13 due to the upcoming new President’s Cup tournament. Final game site will be determined. The dates for team entry will be January 6, 2009.
